The automotive district of Motor Valley boasts dizzying numbers and brands
16,500 companies for over 66 thousand employees, 10 per cent of the entire national supply chain: we are talking about the motor supply chain of the Emilian Motor Valley which in just under 200 km boasts the presence of prestigious brands of car and motorcycle manufacturers.
Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Ducati, Dallara and Pagani are just some of the most well-known names in the district which boasts a 9 zeros turnover, employing over 40% of the total number of employees. Motor Valley is even more: passion, challenge, competence, desire for innovation and above all collaboration between all the parties involved, from the institutions to the entrepreneurs that make up the automotive supply chain.
Cooperation between the parties involved is the strength of the Motor Valley
“There is an industrial and social fabric made up of very strong skills and know-how” comments Florenzo Vanzetto (in the picture), owner of the Bolognese VRM SPA that produces components for BMW, Ducati, Benelli and Ferrari, just to name a few.
Synergy also arises from a constant and growing relationship between companies, institutions, trade unions and training bodies that guarantee a continuous updated and specialized contribution in the workforce.
Total revenues in 2018 exceeded 21 billion and the sector, especially in the field of design and engineering services, is constantly increasing.
Over the years, numerous investors also from abroad have decided to focus on the Emilian district. The latest was the Chinese FAW which confirmed its one billion euro investment in the innovation of the electric super sports car manufacturing.
